Castor Oil/IPDI Copolymer is a synthetic polymer made by reacting castor oil with isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). It is used as a film former and texture-enhancing agent that can help a sunscreen or cosmetic layer evenly on the skin and improve water resistance and wear. The castor oil portion contributes conditioning fatty components while the polymer network adds durability to the film.
